Just made reservations for a little August getaway.
Really cute. Close to historic Cedarburg, WI. Will really need the break by then.

Over the past month, I've slowly been making a shift to becoming more green, more organic, more natural, in general. With a little inspiration from my sis and some library books, I've come to realize the importance of living a (naturally) healthy lifestyle. While I fully admit that I'm a victim of convenience foods and quick-fixes, I also understand the reality of the health problems that plague our nation.
So, don't be surprised if my blog begins to seem a bit focused on my task-at-hand (and oh, what a task it will be!). And please forgive me, if I lement about foods that I will so dearly miss (good-bye Dairy Queen's Tin Roof Blizzard). I am only human :)

I'm sorry to be kind of a debby-downer, but can I just say how much I hate 12-hour days at school? Eight hours with the same teacher for 3 classes is just brutal. It's funny, because I can't wait to be in the "real world" and actually have a job that allows me to experience civilization. *sigh* I guess March can't come sooner.

While shopping for groceries over the weekend, I noticed that many stores are selling these trendy reusable fabric grocery bags. It got me to thinking that I could do something like that... and make it creative and cute.
So, here's my creative version:

So, after days of rain, the sun has finally decided to shine today! It officially feels like spring!
I've got flowers coming up and a lilac bush that is ready to burst. Pictures will be posted when they all decide to pop out. But for now, I'm just enjoying the sun!
