Our 2-year wedding anniversary is coming up on Monday. We're taking this Saturday to celebrate, and for the longest time, I had no idea what we were doing. For whatever reason, be it romantic or just bored at work, Randy took it upon himself to plan the day's events (that's right... I didn't even have to ask!).
In the morning, we're heading to the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis. The pictures look absolutely beautiful, and I've heard nothing but good things.

So, after walking around for a while, we'll head to University City in Missouri. Randy is familiar with the area and knows of a bunch of fun shops (e.g. a vintage record store) to check out before heading to dinner. Then, we end up at my favorite place, The Melting Pot, for a nice, long meal. I can almost taste the chocolate fondue now! Yum!
All in all, I think he did a really good job of planning the day. I didn't know what to expect, but he gets an A+ for thinking of things I'd really like to do. He's a great guy, you know. I'm really glad I married him.
